CXine is a mostly mplayer-compatible keyboard driven X11 media player built on libxine and having support for embedding in other windows/apps; sticky, stayontop, fullscreen and shaded windows; keygrabs; bookmarking current playback position; user definable on-screen displays; downloading using external helper apps; streaming media and more.
NightWatch (NW) is directory browser for video media files. It has full keyboard access and can use single separated keypad (also wireless keypads) for navigation. NW has all functions available in the main menu. However with single keypad the regular main menu is not accessible. Because of this there is the "keypad menu" accessible with INSERT key. NW has Auto-Play function, which goes to the next video file and play it for the next 3 video files in the list with pause of 4 seconds between. P
ExMplayer is a neat front-end for MPlayer with 3D/2D-video playback support. It also provides for media conversion, cutting and extracting; understands all common video, audion and container formats. ExMplayer also provides thumbnail previews for seeking per default, built-in subtitle search and downloading.
