The internal interfaces have matured. Now it is possible to split off the core engine into its own library. This allows for enjoying the magic of Magnetic Scrolls with different frontends. Interested developers can find a minimalistic "helloworld" example in the download package.

This release saw major improvements when playing the original games from the MS DOS releases. The images packaged in there used a slightly different format than the AMIGA versions, resulting in muted colours when playing with the LOW ANSI output.
An alternative algorithm has been introduced, called -vmode low_ansi2, resulting in much more colourful, nuanced pictures. Just have a look yourself!

This release saw MAJOR additions. Not only allows the new "sixel" mode for better looking graphics (in certain terminal emulators), but also the game binaries from "Wonderland" and "The Magnetic Scrolls Collection Volume 1" can be used to play the game directly. Those contained images for playing with EGA graphics. Using the new parameter -ega, it is now possible to enjoy those.
